The Perfect Dress

Headed down to kl yesterday with mum to hunt for my grad recital gown.

Chinatown was really packed with foreign workers.

Went into this wholesale shop which sells pretty gowns and bridal wear.

The pricing for the gowns are really cheap.

Too bad the one which i had my eyes on, they do not have my size and i'll need to alter it if i were to get it.

We then went over to Sg.Wang. Found some other nice ones there too but decided not to get it first incase that i regret over it.

Had taiwanese steamboat buffet at Shabu One Steamboat Buffet, Lot 10.
It's really worth it since their having its opening promotion at only RM16.90 from 11am-4pm.

Tried the Taiwan hot spicy soup (麻辣) for the first time which i dislike and the herbal soup.

Bought these really cute pink brushes from Yokoso Japan.
The brushes are so soft :) me love!!

Talked to a close friend about her relationship recently.

I am shocked indeed when the friend told me what happened.

Why do people do these kinda stuff and never think about the outcomes?!

In the end you're the one who will suffer.

Haiiii....i can't help but to feel sad for them.

Kuantan Trip

Had a 3 days night trip with the family at Kuantan.
We stayed at Swiss Garden Resort and Spa since dad is a member of the swiss garden club.
The resort was great ~ big swimming pool, sauna, gym and beautiful beach ;)

First stop was at one of the shop at Sri Jaya which is very famous for its pao. Tried this dragonfuit eggtart. Taste no difference from normal eggtart but it's nice though.

Different kinda pao. Thankfully they now shifted to a new shoplot which is way better than the previous shoplot which has tones of flies around the shop.
The paos are really yummy!!! Thumbs up for it.

Stop by at the new Bukit Gambang Resort City.
The place is really empty.
It's the 1st and largest water park in the East Coast.
Entree for adult is Rm19.90 while for kids if Rm12.90 if i'm not mistaken.

Nothing much there. Sunway Lagoon will definitely be better than this.

There was this chicken rice shop (New Capitol Hotel Hainanese Chicken Rice) that dad insisted us to try.
The chillies sauce was nice but the chicken was average only.

I still prefer the ones at Bentong!!

Siew yuk. Too much fats which i dislike!!!

Just The Two of Us

Really enjoyed my day despite the tiring and boring journey down to kl.

Had late lunch with tiny roomie at Chillis.

Haven't get to catch up with her much lately since we no longer stay under one roof.

We shared so many things while enjoying our food.

Food was great probably we were too hungry or it was the accompaniment that matters eh?!

Planned to buy mpo tickets but we didn't realise that the box office closed earlier during ramadhan month :(

Hopefully i still can get the tickets that i want.

Am back from the short getaway holiday ;)

Let's Talk About Chinese Music

I practically grew up listening to chinese songs which is of my brother's influence.

It was the 四大天王 and 周华健 songs that I pretty much listened to back then.

Soon after when i went to secondary school I switched to listening to more of english songs ~linkin park, simple plan, avril lavigne etc. rather than chinese songs cause we all think that english pop rock songs are way cooler.

Got really outdated of all the hits songs that were going on since we're a bunch of classical noob.
I only realised that Taylor Swift is a hit when i went karaoke session with the hometown gang *don't like her though :P

And here are some singers that i think are great ones ~ 蘇打綠, Joanna Wang, Hins Cheung, Khalil Fong, Chao Ge, Xiao Jing Teng songs are great i think.

Khalil Fong ~ he's definitely the asian jason mraz. Don't really like his 1st album but the 2nd one is really great though. His improvisation is good and that is what makes him outstanding from the other typical asian singers.

Hauls From Korea

Only managed to shop at the duty free shops at Incheon Airport,

Korea since we were being quarantined from the all the while in Korea :(

4 nail polish, a lipgloss and BB cream...the pen came as a gift

Tried the bb cream and it was awesome..cover pores and make my skin looks more radiant! Been using it a lot these days.

Korean brand ~ Hera perfume. It's a famous brand in Korea but not available in M'sia.
Love the smell but it don't last long enough. The price is cheap though ~ around Rm80

Their food and junk are really nice and healthy. The price are reasonable as well.

Yesterday...

Pictures taken few weeks back during bro's convocation at MMU Cyberjaya.
The place is so much bigger and nicer than our uni!
The buildings are magnifique!
Toured around putrajaya for awhile with my eldest bro while waiting for the convo to finish.
Gosh it has changed so much and you really don't feel like you're in M'sia there.
The architecture is so westernized.
Will surely find another time to visit the place.

Headed over to the photo studio to have our family portrait taken. Went for the famous Gei Tak Sek shop for some dessert. Mango ice the most famous on their menu. I don't find it really THAT nice and worth the price.

And i finally did something productive today. Found dad's rusty guitar and I decided to learned a bit of guitar through the videos on youtube. Those videos for beginners are really good ones! Haha... i can play the A and E major chord, some Beethoven tune and the tune of I'm a big big girl in a big big world......

Happy Independence Day

What i love about Malaysia is definitely the variety of food we have here!
When we were being quarantined in Jeju Island, what I misses the most was not my family but the food here.


Went to bookfest yesterday with the parents. Met my weird ex-violin lecturer there but don't bother to go up to him to say hi since he's a really weird person which i don't know how to explain in words.
Everyone seems to be really cautious now wearing the mask. The special smell of the mask really bring back memories of the Jeju trip.

Also went back to the condo for the very last time to collect my pillows and some leftover stuff.

Books that i bought. Wanted to get Benazir Bhutto's autogbiography book but it's just too expensive :(

The ugly chipped nail polish cuz had to practice the piano. It's really fun seeing your colourful nails flying here and there on the keyboard!
Always jealous of people with long nice nails. What to do.....had to sacrifice something for the things that you're passionate about.

I'm super free now at home since I only have to go down kl once for class everyweek.
Bumping at home now. Ahhh how i wish my friends are all here.
Internet, hongkie drama, tv, piano, books are stuff that i'm into now.

Finally had a hair cut today. My hair was really outta shape and spoilt so had to go for a trim.

One Last Night

...staying at condo with roomie.

Sigh time passes so fast and it has been 2 and a half years since i shifted in here.

Gonna miss the housemates so much so much.

But since i will be staying at btg now i can't find a reason to wear those nice clothes so I resisted from buying too many of them : /

Got a sling bag, a pair of shoes, and a top with my name on it..teehee!!

Going for movie with the gurls tomorrow and opera concert at night :)

Super lonely here now....housemates are all back at their hometown.

I Survived H1N1 in Jeju, Korea (P2)

Day 2
Started off our day with a hearty american style breakfast. Breakfast for the continuous days were the same but luckily we have a variety of choices.
I'm missing the food there so much !!

Had temperature checking after our breakfast. Unfortunately, one of our choir members had fever and high temperature and the korean people have to send him to the local hospital for check up fearing that it might be H1N1. Our performance for that day were canceled, we were really sad bout it :(

The block that we were staying at. Not some high end holiday resort but it's clean and comfortable. Well you really can't ask for more since it's sponsored by the choir fest organiser. My room is the 4th room from right, 2nd floor.

Korean junk are so niceeee!!! Didn't get to eat much of these though cuz my body was heaty and i had cough as well :( I felt so sour when everyone's enjoying their ice-cream but i can't!

Another round of temperature checking. we basically had 2 rounds of temperature checking daily. It is kinda scary to me, cause i tend to have high temperature 37.5 sometimes eventhough i'm not sick. There was once I nearly didn't got into Zouk just because of this.

Lunch - steam potato, beef and miso soup. I ate super little in korea cause the food there's too healthy and meme only likes fried food :P

No picture of what we had for dinner. If i'm not mistaken, my temperature was sorta high that night and i was too worried, therefore no mood to take pic.

One of our roomates was sick on and off since we left for korea. Therefore she got quaratined alone in the skyhouse.

Day 3
Those people who got quarantined in the skyhouse. Pity them cause they have to stay within their compound and not allowed to come and and mix with us.
Breakfast the only day we had porridge. Not as dilute as hongkie porridge but it was quite nice :)

Another block opposite ours where the indonesians group stays at. They forbidded us to go over their compound since one of our members was suspected having the flu :(

The ambulans were there daily to keep track on our health. Super efficient as compared to msian.
