Happy Ox Year

Happy Chinese New Year peeps! Haha.....i know i'm kinda late.

How's ya celebration going on?

I definately i had an awesome one this year. One week of holidays is not enough at all.

I can feel the sudden emptyness now since some of them left and went back to their uni life.

No more tong tong chiang songs, no more binging on cny snacks, no more lou sang, no more angpao and no more gambling throughout the night! It's time to go back to reality.

Man...this is the first time i gambled so much. Hmm now i realised how much i missed out the previous years. Damn happy cause i won back the money i lost :))

Gotta say thanks to the parents for the big ang pao and the gang. I'm so gonna miss going out everyday with them and coming home after midnight!

5th day of CNY

OMG.....time passes sooo fast and it's the fifth day of the Ox year.

This is the first time i gambled so much and i'm losing :(

Sucky assignment's bugging me the cny mood.

What A Day

Accompanied mom and bro to collect the new car today then followed mum to hospital for her medical checkup.

We got a summon for parking illegaly in the hospital compound...O_0 i didn't know there's police in hospital area.

Later on while driving back, mum kinda doze off while driving and bumped into the devider and thank goodness we're safe and the car's allright with some minor bruises.

Aiii....cny is so near and yet we've assignment to deal with.
It's freakin confusing but luckily it's a group assignment and we're sharing the stress for it together.

But still i'm glad that i'm home now. There's nothing better than home.

My appetite recently has been getting better and better which is not good at all.
I am a person who do not skip the 3 meals and now i'm always hungry after 10pm.
The layer of fats is darn scary wei.....how on earth am i goin to survive through cny!!!

Kids nowadays are seriously spoilt to the max sometime you feel like giving up on teaching them.

Really can't wait for cny......gatherings and receiving big fat angpaos!!!

Dumb

See the building that is half demolished? I think those people who build it (a carpark) either has no brain or just plain stupid.
They build the carpark which its location is not ideal for parking because it is some distance away from the town. The building was left un-used for sometime and finally they decided to demolished it -_____-

Our tax money are being dumb into the river just like that.

How i wish there's not major class tomorrow.
I haven't been to the cinema for at least 2 months which is so sad :(
Anyway i've watched REVOLUTIONARY ROAD by Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet and THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON by Brad Pitt.
Both movie were kinda boring or maybe it is just not my cuppa tea.

Finally started on practising my violin again. Imma gonna finish g8 and that's it!!
Perf practise class is kinda hard, confusing, anyway we did learned lotsa philosophy of life through that particular class.

Nothing much interesting to blog about cuz my uni life is basically simple.
We go to uni for lectures then practise in the practise room, when we're tired we'll come out and gossip along the corridor or even spy on some juniors who's playing some brilliant pieces.

The weather is soooo nice and chilling here. Hopefully the weather will stay on until cny!!! Talking about cny, i didn't really get to shop much this time around which means only a few new tops for cny. Ain't that saddening cuz i'm not helping the country's economy? heh..

Pheww....finally my worries are gone.

Cme no longer under *ehem lecturer and i'm partnering with Ann ..Yay!!

and luckily my request is approved and i've gotta face another new violin lecturer this sem.

Feelin kinda excited and nervous and scare cuz i didn't even touch my violin for 2 months.

I think my playing really 'fat mou' already :P

For the first time i've only got 3 days of lectures unless there's master class which is awesome.

A long way to go and now it's only the end of the first week.

Hopefully better things will come along !!

Into the 1st week of Another Sem

Not happy not happy............there's always thousands of worries lying there waiting for u during the first two weeks of a new sem.
Things to deal with your chamber partner, arrange practise time, arrange lecturer.
Ughhh....the bloody money sucker uni penaltised me for paying my fees a day later from the due date. Wtf.....who will go back on a friday when there's no class and stuff??!!!!!
And i got another new violin lecturer :( Aiiii.....hopefully everything's ok la.


Trying to get use to the uni life again after the 2 months break.
My daily routine is like - get up - class/practise - home - get to uni and continue practising.
Into the concerto sem now. Seriously need to practise hard!!!!

and i'm not looking forward to it at all...........
thinking about uni reminds me of tones of assignments, term paper and concerto!!
Am so worried now about my concerto.
Die la....i didn't even go back for extra lesson during the hols and tempo of the piece's killin me.
Aii need to work extra this weekend before uni reopens hopefully my lecturer won't go nuts about my playing :P

Au Revoir 2008

One more day till a brand new year, let's do a conclusion on things that happened around this year.

Jan - My 5th sem at uni. I got the shock of my life seeing those discussing maggots in our condo's fridge cuz the electricity tripped and nobody's home for the last 2 months. I hope the history won't repeat next year.

Feb - We( Yvonne & me) got into the finals for the Rolands Piano Duet Classical Category. Didn't won the competition but it was a great experience and i knew we did our best on that night.

March - Basically nothing special that happens on that month.

April - A close friend's dad passes away and i was not able to attend the funeral service because of finals. I felt really sorry about that. Glad that my friend is doing well now, love her loads. Had violin exam and did okay. To be honest, i've kinda lose interest in violin playing now. Had jury 2, happy with my result.

May - Changed under another new piano lecturer and yeah i learned different things and would not regret about it. My birthday month. Had a simple celebration with the uni gang.

June - Had my first ever conduction lecture. It changes my perspective towards this field. My old camera was spoilt because of some accident ;(

July - This month went on quite smoothly i guess. Can't recall of anything interesting.

August - The olympic month! Awww....China's great, i'm proud to be chinese!! I got my first job and still hesitating whether my future job will be like this -_-

Sept - Another month passed by....

October - Grandma passes away. I was an emotional month to be. I miss her so much now.

November - Which means 2 months of holidays! No more history classes to take! Had a short and sweet trip to Penang and Damai Laut with the family.

December - My hometown gang was back and i had a awesome time hangin out with them, late nights yamcha, watching them played mahjong and our disastrous malacca trip. But something were making me upset at home. Hmm...till now :(

So yea....that's the conclusion of my 2008. I was wondering, does everyone look forward to another new year?

I in fact, do not really. I felt old now growing, i've always thought that i'm still the 17 years old teenage and whenever people say they're 17 I will be thinking ' ooh..hey i'm too '...which too bad isn't the truth. But there's always better things to look forward, right?

like when will my meet my prince charming?! :P
