Celebrated my 21st birthday few days earlier during the weekend at my crib.

My invited guests were all my high school mates.....we're still as close as last time :)

Had a really wonderful party thanks to them and especially my family!

Last Day of Being 20 Years Old

Had really awesome pre-celebration for my birthday.
First was last saturday party at my house.
And today dinner with uni gang at an Italian restaurant.

Ladies Night

How did you guys celebrate Mother's Day?

Well....as usual the 3 of us (my bros and me) bought mum a card and we spent the rest of the day in Genting staying over for one night.

Was forced to watch StarTrek (not my kinda movie) there with the bros cause no other movies were available but it turned out great lar..

Anyway, dragged the 3 girls out for a drink on last thursday night cause it's the first week of uni which mean that we're still very free from assignments.

Cindy suggested that we go Rainforest in Sunway Pyramid.

The place kinda suck. Mostly africans and i guess we're the only table of chinese.

Our drink (Frozen Margarita) which tasted okay only.

Long Long Ago...

.....about 50 years back in time, grandpa came over to M'sia from China to earn a better living.

Grandpa self-learned to read and write chinese on his own and he started off as a business man in Penang.

And soon enough his business were growing and he owns few shop houses along Penang Road right across Komtar selling all kinds of souvenirs.

Tourists from the foreign countries love buying things from grandpa's shop.

However things started to change in recent years, Komtar was closing down and the business became bad.

Most of the shophouses are now taken over by others and being rebuild. Only few were left to my uncles.

This is the role of shophouses i'm mentioning. I wish that things don't change but this is the reality.

The old movie theatre mum used to visit when she was young located beside the police station and opposite the famous Penang Road laksa and cendol.

And now it's being abandoned.

Different classes and different pricing just like gold and premiere class in modern days now..


Memories of the past are precious.

George Town White Coffee in Penang

I thought that there is only Old Town White Coffee until i went Komtar and saw this - George Town White Coffee.
Too bad i haven't have the chance to try it yet.


Damn emo now larr uni's starting next week....i feel as though i'm still having holidays cuz i'm enjoying myself at home so much and my hometown friends are all back!

Thoughts of the thesis paper and other assignments just kill my mood.

Oh well....had a great night out with the friends and some of them has changed so much!


Phewww....luckily next saturday is off day cuz its Wesak Day and MissRain is having a birthday partay at home :)

Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang

Visited the Kek Lok Si Temple last week while waiting for mum who's in the hospital accompanying my grandpa.
The last time i went was like almost 10 years back and now the whole building has developed so much.
We need to pay to go up the building and pay again to take the tram up :(
This just proves that there's no free things in the world, and the nun was the one sitting there collecting the money -_-"
